This is the truth beneath all the propaganda, violence, and atrocities - a tiny child who has no idea what the future may bring - who has arrived helpless and full of everything needed to change the world for the better.
Let this in. There is no other, no one better or less than another. There is nothing but the simple truth that despite outward differences we are all the same.
Take this image with you and hold it close. It's time for invasions and bombs and war crimes to stop - to call on all people, all countries, all governments to stand together and say we will not tolerate bullies, abusers, or criminals. It's time to turn our focus to healing - to become human once again.
P.S. I continue to be amazed by the courage, fortitude, and strength of the Ukrainian people who fight because the alternative is intolerable and because they believe in their children.
